@The curriculum provides a broad-based education in manufacturing, operations research, automation, quality control, ergonomics, physical and engineering sciences, and laboratory and industrial experiences. It builds a strong foundation for the development of professionally competent and versatile industrial engineers, who will be able to hold their careers both in a traditional manufacturing environment and in a much broader, global economy, including financial services, communications, or information technology. Students can base on their interests to select the curriculum to suit their future development. Focusing equally on practice and theory, the Department aims to cultivate appropriate management philosophy and R&D spirit of students. In light of internationalization trends, English is emphasized to prepare the students for entering the workforce.
